The Growth Warrior 

The Growth Warrior is a coaching business that centers around helping the underdog business owners scale their businesses with helpful insights and resources, webinars, and tailored action steps.

The Growth Warrior’s digital content ranges from discovery reports, videos, quarterly reports and ebooks to reach their audience, so a strong brand identity was really important to remain consistent throughout all these materials. 

Starting with the logo, I decided to use the typefaces to express the brand as opposed to having a separate logo mark by composing the separate words to cohesively create a solid image. The “G” worked great for the composition by making it “grow” from the second line next to “warrior.” 

The “^” shape in the middle of the “w” was the perfect spot to emphasize the scaling aspect of their services, and it appropriately took the shape of a spearhead. The use of orange for this shape makes it glow like a tribal campfire and can be used separately throughout the brand as a logo mark. I used a neutral teal for the letters around it to provide extra contrast against the orange mark and the orange that is repeated in “warrior.”

For an expressive accent, I wanted to emphasize the gritty attitude of the brand by incorporating distressed textured backgrounds throughout the different materials. Check out the website at thegrowthwarrior.com.
